MoCCA Festival 2012!

It's time for another celebration of comics, illustration and graphic wizardry; The Museum of Comics and Cartoon Art Festival. Visit the Lexington Avenue Armory to enjoy some beautiful and original illustrated works. I will be debuting the second issue of my ongoing series, Genus. Check out some preview panels below.

 I will also have with me copies of Genus 1, the illustrated collection Hydra, as well as some older comics collections.

At this MoCCA Fest I will be sharing a table with my colleague and good friend Paul Hoppe. Come by for a visit and we promise you will not leave empty handed!

Excerpt From Rabid Rabbit #14

I've recently completed a new 5 page that will appear in the 14th volume of the hallowed anthology, Rabid Rabbit. The theme for this issue is "romance." The issue will debut at this year's MoCCA Comics Festival.

Genus, MoCCA Fest 2011 and Bergen Street Comics

The Museum of Comics and Cartoon Art is hosting its annual festival of comics and comic art this weekend. Head over to the Lexington Avenue Armory this Saturday or Sunday to experience the varied, ambitious and oft beautiful work of comics artist from New York and beyond. I will have a table at the event along with my talented colleagues Fay Ryu and Sakura Maku. I will be debuting issue 1 of my new comic, Genus, and selling reprints of Hydra and Paliwog #2. Don't miss out on this unique, inspiring event.

Also, in related news, our friends at Bergen Street Comics are hosting a gallery opening/release party this Friday night of the thirteenth issue of Rabid Rabbit; Square One. This issue is a collaboration with Swedish art-comics outfit, C'est Bon Anthology. There is no doubt in my mind that you will be entertained.

Hydra and MOCCA 2010

This weekend the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art is holding its annual MoCCA Fest. Hundreds of contributors, comprised of cartoonists and illustrators from NYC and beyond will gather in midtown to showcase their talents. I will be premiering Hydra, my new book/zine which is a collection of recent illustrations. I will also have new copies of my old mini-comic, Paliwog, available. And lastly, I have a new three page comic featured in the new issue of the Supertalk comics anthology that will be premiering at the festival as well. Come visit me and the good people of Rabid Rabbit at our table, right next to the Supertalk kids. See y'all soon.
