I've recently completed a new 5 page that will appear in the 14th volume of the hallowed anthology, Rabid Rabbit. The theme for this issue is "romance." The issue will debut at this year's MoCCA Comics Festival.

Praise For American Cat

Drawing Words And Writing Pictures, the comics criticism and education site run by Jessica Abel and Matt Madden, ran a brief review of my short comic American Cat, which appeared in Rabid Rabbit #10. Genus, MoCCA Fest 2011 and Bergen Street Comics

The Museum of Comics and Cartoon Art is hosting its annual festival of comics and comic art this weekend. Head over to the Lexington Avenue Armory this Saturday or Sunday to experience the varied, ambitious and oft beautiful work of comics artist from New York and beyond. I will have a table at the event along with my talented colleagues Fay Ryu and Sakura Maku. I will be debuting issue 1 of my new comic, Genus, and selling reprints of Hydra and Paliwog #2. Don't miss out on this unique, inspiring event.

Also, in related news, our friends at Bergen Street Comics are hosting a gallery opening/release party this Friday night of the thirteenth issue of Rabid Rabbit; Square One. This issue is a collaboration with Swedish art-comics outfit, C'est Bon Anthology. There is no doubt in my mind that you will be entertained.

Excerpt from Hell Hath No Fury

I have been greatly delayed in blogging due to a wedding (my own) and the work schedule at the agency (are those sufficient excuses?) Currently busy wrapping up a 5 page comic for the 12th issue of the Rabid Rabbit comics anthology. The new book will be released in the coming months. For now enjoy these sample frames.

Hydra and MOCCA 2010

This weekend the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art is holding its annual MoCCA Fest. Hundreds of contributors, comprised of cartoonists and illustrators from NYC and beyond will gather in midtown to showcase their talents. I will be premiering Hydra, my new book/zine which is a collection of recent illustrations. I will also have new copies of my old mini-comic, Paliwog, available. And lastly, I have a new three page comic featured in the new issue of the Supertalk comics anthology that will be premiering at the festival as well. Come visit me and the good people of Rabid Rabbit at our table, right next to the Supertalk kids. See y'all soon.

Rabid Rabbit Release Party And Art Show

Come one, come all, to the Rabid Rabbit event at Bergen Street Comics this Saturday evening in Brooklyn, NY! This gathering will celebrate the release of the 11th(!) issue of the now legendary tome and will also mark the beginning of a month long exhibit featuring original comics pages by myself and other contributing artists. My selected pages will be from the story Revolution 1, that appeared in Rabid Rabbit #8. Comics! Hipsters! What more could one ask for? Bring close friends and an enemy or two.

A Horrific Comic

Paliwog!

My new mini-comic, Paliwog, is complete and debuted at the MoCCA Arts Festival last weekend. The book is a collection of recent short comics and illustrations. It shared the Rabid Rabbit table with other beautifully designed booklets that feature my comics as well as those of other grand stylists such as Paul Hoppe, Chris Butzer and S.Y. Choi.

Revolution 1 (excerpt)

This is an excerpt from my contribution to the upcoming issue of the hallowed comics anthology, Rabid Rabbit, now in its 8th issue. It will be released this summer at the MoCCA festival.
