Parts of the Body

Informed by the early hand-painted anatomy charts for children by Indian Book Depot Publishers in Sivakasi. The artwork of these educational devices were influenced by the formalism of European Renaissance painting and the children themselves often display these characteristics. It's often disturbing and hilarious to see scenes of these pale, cherub-faced Indian children posing as diagrams. More drawings to come based on these educational charts...

Indian book depot from Delhi and not sivakasi. We were never from sivakasi. We still publish these charts and thanks for the comments and description u wrote.
